"Don't quit your day job"...but.....

Review the following slide show.  What are at least three trends you notice from one millionaire to another?  What business idea interests you the most?  Why?  If someone came up to you and offered you a million dollars to tell them your best entrepreneur idea what would your idea be?  Why?

  1. Three trends that i noticed from the millionaires was for one they all started young. Second is that they all touched one doing something that you love to do and not just for the money, saying that you have to be passionate about your craft. Third is that "the time is not" saying stop siting around thinking about what you want to do and just get it done. The business that interests me most is sports, because i have been around them all my life i really have an understanding on how things work in the sports world. If someone offered me a million dollars for my best entrepreneur idea i would pitch them something about connecting sports and online dating. these are two topics that will always be there.

  2. Looking through these slides the most common thing I saw was a trend in making some kind of new website. If they did not invent something on the web you can go find it on there anyways. I guess none of these really interest me, I was once a little curious about Myyearbook.com but then realized that I didn't really enjoy it. I did become a little interested in the Hear and Play music group. I have never heard about it. I think that sounds cool if I was wanting to learn a new instrument. If I had a million dollars to invest in an entrepreneur idea it would probably be putting my TV remote in my phone because I am always loosing my remote, but always have my phone so if i could just use my phone to control my TV life would be a little easier:)

  3. Many of them got started by creating some sort of website as their first venture or their website is what made them big. Many of them stress to have a low start up cost so it will be easier for you to find profitability. I thought that the idea about facebook was the most interesting. I probably think this because of watching the movie about facebook and knowing the history about it and knowing that he was just a college student like all of us and he made it just sitting in his dorm room and just watched as it blew up. If someone came up to me and offered me a million dollars for one of my ideas i would probably try to make a type of mapping system for the oilfield that can be viewed from computer or phone. In the summer i work in the oil field and know how big of a pain it is to try to find different job sites and locations. It makes it more difficult because roads are constantly being added and created. My idea would be to use a satellite image to update the maps every few weeks. Right now when you receive maps from companies they are practically outdated by the time they finish printing them so i think many companies would invest in this and making it profitable.

  4. The first trend I noticed is that all the young millionaires believed if you want to make it happen , it will happen but it's up to you to take it serious. The second trend I noticed is that they also started young. Another trend was each ones use of the internet which plays a major part in the world today. Probably creating some type of social network interest me the most , because people are always looking for that next one. If I was offered a million dollars I would create a hotel chain , which there will always be a need for

  5. What business idea interested me the most would have to be Cameron Johnson and his business he created to help others, by making and printing greeting cards and creating websites to help his business. If someone came up to me and offered me a million dollars for my entrepreneur idea, i would have to say creating a foundation or group to help kids with certain needs meet other kids like them and get them to interact with other kids there age and get out and not be a home body. first by creating a website to get the word out then in communities have events and people get to get out meet others and have activities for the children to enjoy.

  6. Each millionaire started out very young, most before even graduating high school. They all were passionate about one thing that lead them to success. They all had incredible drive to make things happen, and it payed off. I think that Cameron Johnson's millionaire story was the most inspiring to me because he started so young. His idea of selling and making greeting cards at home is genius because it's so simple and everyone loves greeting cards. He found something that people valued and he made a business out of it. If someone offered me a million dollars for my entrepreneur idea, I would have to say it would be some kind of app for students to use when they need help with homework. I feel like this could be a good idea because there are so many students and I being one of them would be willing to pay for an easy app to use like that to help me with college.

  7. Three trends I noticed were 1. they were all super young when they first started making millions, 2. most of them hadn't even graduated college but were attending college, and 3. and every one had became so fortunate with the inventions of different things with technology. The young girl who hadn't even attended college probably interests me the most simply because she did something that was easy but was just able to sell it. If someone came up to me and offered me a million dollars I would pitch them the idea of my own shoe label. Even though I don't have one now, but I would make one. Only because I LOVE SHOES. (:
