I guess I dont really know how technology has effected lottery or lottery winners. But I can tell you that if i won the lottery i would be very happy! I think i would handle it very well, and save it and spend it wisely. The first thing I would do is pay of my school. I do not want debt in life. Then I would buy a car:)
ReplyDeleteI like what you would do with your winnings if you were to win. I would do the same(:
DeleteHow has technology effected the lottery today? Hmm.. I really don't know how to answer that one, maybe its the machines that they use and how you can get your ticked scanned right away and don't have to wait or constantly watch the winning numbers on TV. so the that would be another one would be different ways of checking the winning numbers. The cons of technology effecting society in winning the lottery, is insane. Your broadcasted over every new channel almost every radio channel, and don't for get like Willey said you have TV/Show Producers down your neck for the next "reality hit". The Pros are being able to have what you want and being able to pay all your bills off and to live the life you want and now can afford. Technology is helping the pros and cons very widely but as i mentioned the cons are you broadcasted to everyone and everyone "wants" you; the pros of technology i guess people know your alive and try to be your friend or they just have their hand out and now you can tell them to "screw off" and if they don't get the message its in the public. But the main pro of technology affected the lottery is that you are the winner! If i won the lottery i would be Very happy and a dream come true! the first thing I would do is pay off my car and buy my house that i want and then take a small vacation and then put the rest in the bank.
ReplyDeleteToday if you win the lottery it could change your life for the better and for the worse. technology has increased the amount of money the lotteray brings in but also has shows everybody world wide who wins the money which is not always the best thing that could happen. The more people that know you have money means that more people that want some of your money. If i won the lottery i would be happy and i would move my familly some where far away as soon as possible.
ReplyDeleteIn the world today it shows from his story that you're a nobody if you live in the middle class and as soon as you come in to money "all of a sudden" you have status. Makes no sense, however the lottery can change your life because you now have money that you did not have before. Money does make the world go around, and winning $450 Million could change a lot. If I won the lottery I would be happy and I would enjoy myself even after the government takes what their taxes. I would be as happy as can be because my family and I would not have to worry for awhile.
ReplyDeleteTechnology has changed the lottery today because it is now more accessible for anyone to use, that is if the person is of age. It takes no time to fill out a lottery ticket and process it through. You can also just take a lottery ticket into a gas station and scan it and see if you've won. If I won the lottery I'm almost sure it would wreck my life. I know I would be ecstatic. I already buy everything materialistic. I would probably buy a car and then make sure my family was set straight.
ReplyDeleteTechnology has changed the lottery because , now its easy for everybody find out who you are after you win the lottery. With the internet advances people can basically find everything about you if they want. If I would won I personally would embrace the attention and being on tv. I would buy a machine and set my family up and couple close friends , and start to invest to try to turn it into a billion
ReplyDeleteLotteries have changed since the advancement of technology, in many cases with people trying to use it to beat the system. Many people who have high levels of technical knowledge have tried to create random number generators with algorithms to attempt to figure out what they numbers are based on past numbers. My question is: if you have that kind knowledge, why not get a job? If you save your money properly you'd be better off than spending it trying to win the lottery all the time. The people who win generally live a great couple of years, then the money goes away and then so does everything that comes with it.
ReplyDeleteIf I wont the lottery I would for sure stay anonymous, otherwise then you get all the fake relatives. Both the kind that aren't really related to you, and the ones that only want to be related to you now because you have money. I would continue working, drive a modest car and keep my home. However I would pay off my debts, and the debts of my family. After that I would invest the money to make sure that the winnings didn't go away as fast as they do with others. I'm not saying I wouldn't splurge a little, but I would try to not go crazy with it.
